Sourcing
In the historic vineyards of the Champagne region, Groupe Berkem sources grape seeds naturally rich in OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidins). These seeds come from hand-harvested grapes, traditionally grown for some of the world’s most renowned wines. By valorizing this agricultural resource, Groupe Berkem contributes to a more sustainable use of the vine, extending its value beyond winemaking while supporting local viticulture.
Science
Grape seed extracts, which contain OPCs, are known to contribute to antioxidant activity, helping to eliminate free radicals and thus reduce oxidative stress.
