Organic raspberry leaves come from carefully managed farms in France. These leaves are collected from raspberry plants grown under certified organic conditions. Proprietary preclinical studies

-Anti-pollution effect on hair fiber (in tubo):
Pollutants largely consist of metal elements, including ions such as Cu²⁺, Fe²⁺, and Mg²⁺. The iron-neutralizing capacity of Urban’Hair® was assessed in tubo by measuring Fe²⁺ chelation. The results showed a significant, dose-dependent chelation effect, indicating the neutralization of pollutants and the protection of hair fibers from the adverse effects of pollution.

-Anti-pollution effect and protection from hair brightness loss (ex vivo) :
The anti-pollution effect of Urban’Hair® was tested ex vivo on human hair strands exposed to pollution and treated with 3% Urban’Hair® shampoo or placebo. Microscopy and colorimetry analyses showed that Urban’Hair® significantly reduced particle accumulation and brightness loss compared to placebo.

-Soothing scalp effect (in tubo) :
The capacity of Urban’Hair® to inhibit COX-2, an enzyme triggered by pollution-induced inflammation, was evaluated in tubo using an ELISA test. Results showed a dose-dependent inhibition, indicating that Urban’Hair® helps sooth the scalp and supports the scalp in combating pollution-related redness and itching.

Clinical study

Urban’Hair® was evaluated in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study on 30 volunteers exposed to pollution and urban stress in Bangkok for 28 days. At the end of the study, a self-assessment questionnaire revealed that shampoo containing 3% Urban’Hair®  helped restore hair vitality and beauty while enhancing volunteers’ sense of well-being.
